“S”mashed Potatoes Anyone?
Doesn’t everyone love mashed potatoes? In our home, a turkey dinner would not be complete without mashed potatoes. I have learned a few tricks along the way to make these scrumptious items a little healthier using various options for the liquid as well as including vegetables other than potatoes in the mash.
There are many varieties of potatoes available in the grocery store. I don’t buy any special type of potato for mashed potatoes. I use what I have in my cupboard but try to add a sweet potato or yam to the mix if I have one on hand.
