Healthy Retreat.

It’s important to know your sources, and when it comes to the fish you eat there are no exceptions!

I caught my salmon and scallops from a local specialty seafood market where they told me exactly where the fish came from. Knowing this information is important because not all fish are made the same and have the same health benefits. Look for fresh caught fish (not farm raised) to make sure that you are eating the very best.

I paired my seafood with an easy vegetable dish of buttered asparagus to complete the meal.

Sea Scallops:

Because I marinated the sea scallops in white wine and old bay the fresh flavors of the scallops were elevated to a whole new level.

What You Need:

  • 10 fresh sea scallops
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. butter
