What is it? “Bountiful Baskets is a non-profit food co-op for families that want to have more fresh produce for less money.” In otherwords, a steal of a deal on fresh produce for $15.
How does it work? Sign up for a “basket” in your area at bountifulbaskets.org on either Monday or Tuesday. On Saturday, bring a laundry basket to your location at the designated time. On site you will gather fruit and vegetables that have been divided out by lovely volunteers prior to your arrival. You don’t know exactly what produce you will get, so it is often a fun surprise! And that’s it. Very simple.
