artist-impressionist

I’m starting a series of drawings then paintings of Carole Lombard.  She was a classic and original comedian from 1930-40s.  For a while she was married to Clark Gable, she died tragically at 33yrs old in plane crash near Las Vegas.

I’m tired of “modern” art with its high concepts.  This series is about beauty and power, to reach back through time and bring her into today.
