Easy Indian Cooking


Boiled rice 1 cup

1/2 cup curd/yoghurt

2 table spoon of milk

1 table spoon of oil

2 dry chillies

½ tea spoon mustard seeds

½ tea spoon cumin seeds

A pinch of Asafoetida

A pinch of coriander leaves

A pinch of curry leaves

Salt to taste


Mix rice, curd and milk well

In a pan add some oil and wait till it becomes hot

Add mustard, cumin seeds, Asafoetida and dry chillies and curry leaves.

When the spattering sound lessens add them now to rice that been mixed well with curd and water.

Add salt to taste and mix well

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve


Asafoetida is an Indian spice, which is very good for digestion.

You might get this in Indian spice shops or also buy them online.
