Easy Indian Cooking


250 gm. of beans (cut them around 2 cm long)

1 small onion(finely chopped)

1 table spoon of oil

1 tablespoon of sheared coconut

2 dry chillies

2 peeled garlic cloves. (Chop them roughly in straight lines)

½ tea spoon mustard seeds

½ tea spoon cumin seeds

A pinch of Asafoetida

A pinch of curry leaves

Pinch of salt to taste



In a pan add some oil and wait till it becomes hot

Add mustard, cumin seeds, Asafoetida and dry chillies and curry leaves.

When the spattering sound lessens add chopped oin and sauté for a minute.

Now add beans, garlic and salt and half cup of water and stir well and cook in medium flame for 10 minutes and stirs in between. Cook with a lid on top.
