To me there is nothing better then coming in from the cold and drinking a hot mug of ginger, equally while out in the sun I love washing down a cool glass of ginger beer. What’s so great about it is the endless amount of health benefits with a great, heated taste! Ginger has been proven to reduce the risk of colon cancer, as well as a treatment for morning and motion sickness, menstrual cramps and is an anti-inflammatory (contains compounds called gingerols, which gives the ginger it’s spicy-ness).

For people with pulled or strained muscles may find ginger paste able to soothe the affected area, equally people who suffer from arthritis are likely to find it beneficial to either consume 2-3 portions of ginger a day, or rub on the sore area due to the anti-inflammatory effects.

So, overall, ginger is great. Hot, tasty, spicy and SO healthy…
